Founded by Brendan O’Mahoney, Darren O’Mahoney and Joseph Corey, Teckel-Group is an Irish-based company established in December 2021. We’re a director-led and client-focused commissioning services company serving clients on hyperscale, mission critical and Level 1-6 commissioning facilities throughout Ireland, UK, Europe and the Nordic countries.
Teckel Group brings together like-minded, ambitious individuals who can create and lead teams to deliver specialist projects. Our technical backgrounds are in mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering and project management. In the pressurized and challenging world of data centre facilities construction, we’re driven by excellence, surpassing our clients’ expectations and achieving higher standards. We’re a process-driven company that’s focused on continuous improvement. For us, success means delivering outstanding results for our clients.
So who are we?
Sometimes we’re like the (younger) engineers we used to be – life is too short to go through the day without a sense of humour and the camaraderie that shared banter can bring…
But we’re always the team who take our work very seriously. Handing over a finished building to the operations team that’s the best it can possibly be – no compromises – is what drives us through projects (and a few cute dachshunds!).

Just in case you’re wondering about the dachshunds…
Teckel Group’s name comes from the times when we worked on the same team as data centre commissioning agents in Europe. We all know the level of professional and personal commitment it takes to deliver commissioning projects on time, on budget and with excellence. Being the on-trend, cool guys that we are, when life got a little tougher than usual, we took a little down-time looking at charming dachshunds on social media! (Dachshunds are also known as Teckels!)
So, in homage to the hard-working, driven, committed teams we worked with on our professional journey, we called our company Teckel Group and we don’t mind at all if you think we’re like those cute little dogs because they’re alert, curious, brave, loyal, hard-working and great watchdogs!
